InFactory Solutions creates a link between the manufacturing and IT world focusing on the digitalization of productions. As a 100% Airbus spin-off the company is delivering industry 4.0 services mainly for composite production. There are three main services InFactory offers: sensor systems, data analytics and engineering consulting which are aimed at customers mainly from the automotive, aerospace, and wind industry sectors. InFactory’s vision is a fully automated production, where each step of the production process is fully monitored and connected to a central database, analyzing in real time the efficiency of each production step. This enables their clients to save time and costs in production and maintenance processes but also to predict particular anomalies in various supply chains.
The branding brings to life the company’s operational range in a visual way. On the one hand it demonstrates the functionality of its main service: sensor systems. Here a laser is scanning a substrate and sending information about its condition to a computer – a step which has been done manually in the past. This procedure is picked up in the logo visualization – a black square representing the substrate along which a laser beam passes, forming a line in the middle. By bringing these two forms together one can see the letter s in an abstract, geometrical way. This principle is carried on with the two other service areas: data analytics (letter d) and engineering consulting (letter e) forming individual subbrand logotypes.
In the main logo all three initials are brought together along the black square resulting in an intercrossing service pool. The color palette is inspired by the refraction of light, delivering three main colors for each service area. The result is a dynamic, powerful and progressive visual language which is truly enlighting.
